Golden Star Dumpsters’ offers a simple, easy to handle rental process for our products. First, choose from one of our four roll-off dumpster sizes – 15, 20, 30, and 40 yards – that best matches your planned project. Next, contact us to reserve your rental, letting us know which product you want, where you want it delivered, when you need it by, and how long you will need it. Then, we will deliver it right to you, ready for you to begin filling. Later on, when the product is full, give us a call back, and we will come swap it out with an empty one and dispose of debris inside the full roll-off at a landfill or proper waste disposal facility. Finished with the product? We will come pick it up when you are ready.
15-yard
The 15-yard roll-off is our smallest sized dumpster, holding about 5-7 pickup truck loads full of debris and trash. It is ideal for those smaller residential renovation or remodeling projects.
20-yard
The 20-yard roll-off holds about 7-9 pickup truck loads full of debris. It is ideal for shed renovations and large remodeling projects.
30-yard
The 30-yard holds about 10-12 pickup truck loads full of debris. It is ideal for large construction and demolition jobs or landscaping jobs.
40-yard
The 40-yard roll-off is our largest sized dumpster. It is reserved exclusively for large commercial construction projects. It holds about 12-14 pickup truck loads full of debris.
Things To Be Wary About
Dumpster Danger
Be careful when using a roll-off dumpster. Make sure small children and pets stay away from the area where your roll-off dumpster has been placed to prevent curiosity from causing an accident. It is not only children and pets that need to be careful around a dumpster. Make sure workers are cautious when loading items into the roll-off as well, so they do not fall into the product and possibly injure themselves on the construction debris inside.
Dumpster Fires
Do not let workers smoke near the roll-off dumpster. Tossing a cigarette that has not been fully put out into the roll-off container can cause a dumpster fire. Want to further prevent the chance of a dumpster fire? Make sure your dumpster does not have any prohibited explosive products inside. As an extra precaution, we suggest you plan for your dumpster to be placed away from a building, preventing possible further ignition if a fire breaks out.
Weight Distribution
Debris inside dumpsters should be loaded evenly, if possible. Distributing the weight inside of the dumpster can help keep the roll-off steady while being taken to the landfill for proper disposal.
Product Placement
Once a product is placed on your work site, do not move it. Moving a product without proper care can cause unwanted damage to your property as well as our product. Our workers are trained to place the products on your driveway or other hard, flat surface in a way that does not cause damage, so make sure you select where you want the product to go ahead of time, and let us place the product for you. If something happens where the roll-off dumpster needs to be moved or it is time for it to be swapped out with an empty one, contact our office, and we will send workers over to move the product for you as soon as possible.
FAQ's
Roll-off dumpster rental prices depend on a variety of factors, including product size and location. Overfilling a dumpster, exceeding its weight limit and throwing hazardous or other prohibited items inside the roll-off can result in added disposal fees being accrued. Call us today for a free quote and detailed pricing.
Dumpsters can be loaded by walking debris through the back door or by tossing it over the sides. Never attempt to climb on the dumpster while loading it.
Dumpsters can be rented from Golden Star Dumpsters with as little as a one-day notice. We encourage renters to reserve their dumpster ahead of time to make sure they have enough time to clear a hard, flat surface for our workers to place their dumpster on delivery day.
Our roll-off dumpster services include delivery and pick-up within our service area, swapping a full roll-off out with an empty one, and bringing the debris filled roll-off to a proper disposal facility to empty. Our portable toilet services include delivery and pick-up of the product and weekly servicing.
Dumpsters should be swapped before debris begins overflowing from the top of the container. Keep an eye on how high the trash is getting as you fill it up. Give us a call when debris starts filling to the brim, and our workers will be over as soon as possible to switch the full roll-off dumpster out with an empty one.
Which dumpster sizes are ideal for which projects?
small home remodels, room remodels, garage cleanouts, patio renovations, and deck removals
small business remodels, shed renovations, and large home remodeling projects
large home remodels, big landscaping projects, and demolition jobs
large-scale construction projects and large building remodels
Commercial Construction
Our heavy-duty, steel roll-off dumpsters are great for holding all that construction debris created on the commercial job site.
Roll-offs are tough enough to hold a wide variety of debris, such as bricks, gravel, and wood. They are ideal for holding an array of project waste material, including construction, crown molding, doors, flooring, framing, industrial waste, landscaping, roofing, and walls.

Portable Toilets
-
-
- Consider renting one or more of our portable toilets for your next construction job site. Portable toilets give your workers a sanitary restroom option onsite.
- Golden Star Dumpsters offers portable toilets in both standard and ADA compliant handicap sizes. All toilets come sanitized with two large rolls of toilet paper and toilet bowl sanitizer. Once placed, the toilet is ready for use.
- Portable toilets are serviced once a week, unless requested otherwise. During a service visit, workers will pump out any mess inside the portable toilet, sanitize the facility, and replace any supplies inside.
- Portable toilets are ideal for more than just the construction site. Consider renting them for your next public or private event, including festivals, parties, weddings, and school functions.
- Each toilet serves about 50 people. We suggest getting a second portable toilet if expecting more people to use it than that.

Items to Never Place in a Dumpster
Feel free to contact one of our customer service representatives if you are concerned about whether or not a specific product can be thrown into a roll-off to be disposed of properly.
- Hazardous or explosive items are prohibited from being placed in our roll-off dumpster rentals. Never place these items in our containers. This includes any flammables, explosives, oils and gases, pesticides and herbicides, batteries, electronics, televisions, liquid cleaning supplies, liquid paint and paint thinner, and pressurized spray cans.
- Bulky items, such as appliances, mattresses, box springs, and tires, are also prohibited from being thrown away in our roll-off dumpster rentals. Placing these types of items in our roll-off dumpster rentals will result in added disposal fees and can affect our quick and smooth dumpster swapping process.
Measuring the Work Site
A roll-off dumpster needs a flat, hard surface to be set on top of that is at minimum the size of the product’s footprint. Measure your work site to make sure you have enough room for the size roll-off dumpster you intend to rent. Our 15-yard and 20-yard roll-offs require space big enough for its 8-foot by 14-foot footprint. Our 30- and 40-yard roll-offs have footprints measuring 8-feet by 21-feet. We advise renters of a 40-yard roll-off dumpster to clear space twice the length of the product’s footprint to assist us with how we roll-off the dumpster onto and off of the worksite.
How to be prepared to rent a roll-off?
- Renting a roll-off dumpster is a simple process. Make it even simpler by preparing ahead of time instead of waiting and rushing to prepare for your dumpster on delivery day.
- Prepare ahead by clearing off a hard, flat surface, such as concrete, where we can place your dumpster. We suggest measuring your work site before you reserve your rental to make sure you have a big enough space for the rental product.
- If you are a first-time renter, we suggest you prepare ahead of time by looking through our website or speaking directly with our customer service representatives to answer any questions you have about using our products ahead of time.
